Weight loss focus!
I have decided to focus on my weight loss for the next few months while I cut back on my mileage to fully recover from my pneumonia. I have started a rather odd diet, for me at least. I started on Monday at 202lbs. My goal weight is 170lbs. by mid July, before my Tahoe 100 mile race.
I am doing a 100% raw foods only, low fat vegan diet. It is very similar to some of the diets they put heart patients on. If you would like more info you can send me an ask. I had a lot of time to read while I was down for two+ weeks with my pneumonia. I came across this diet that made a lot of since from the science side. Will it work? I have no idea. How long will I be on it? I have no idea. I love my meat! Well, all foods for that matter so this is going to be very hard. Wish me luck!
Things that make this hard:
Taco day at the office:

while I had my fruit smoothie.

And last nights dinner.

Dude, you and I will weigh aboout the same! That diet is sure to make you drop a bunch of weight. I tried a diet like that once for a few weeks and I quit because I was wasting away. I dropped like 5 lbs in 2 weeks. And I got down to 149.

Google “Dan the Life Regenerator”. He has a YouTube channel and though I think slightly nuts, he’s definitely a resource for all things raw foods and healthy living.
